My wife, Nancy, and I arrived in White County during June of 2008 from Central Florida
following many years of considering a move to the mountains.
Nancy was an elementary school teacher (special ed) and I practiced law there for thirty seven
years. I am now retired from the practice of law.
We loved raising our four children in Leesburg, but, we have really enjoyed our relocation to
Cleveland and the White County area. Nancy & I are lucky enough to travel so we can keep in
touch with our children and grandchildren on a frequent basis.
Nancy & I are raising a service dog for Canine Companions for Independence. It's a huge job
but, we think it will be rewarding when he makes the cut to help a disabled person. These
special dogs are partnered with adults with physical disabilities to assist with daily tasks and
increase independence by reducing reliance on other people. Wish us luck. If you're interested
